EDTEC 700 Summer 09

The course focused on creating content using Adobe Connect. Adobe Connect was a new medium for me, but we were given ample opportunities to become familiar with its uses.

The course projects included setting up online rooms, discussions with the group, providing instruction, and providing a collaborative activity among the participants.

I really enjoyed getting to know Adobe Connect. I learned to a create a variety of pods and upload content like PowerPoint slides and Flash videos. Providing video of myself was a challenge because you had to connect with your audience, as well as, focus on the content you wanted to share. All in all I feel that Adobe Connect is beneficial to distant learning and is worth exploring.
