The article described a world in which the use of digitally enhanced tools created a new type of human, specifically one that "accepts digital enhancement as an integral fact of human existence, and he or she is digitally wise." The article then went on to explore the definition of "wise" which I thought very interesting. Since no one really agrees about what a wise person knows or does. Either way these new digitally wise people will exist according to the article Prensky. states that these enhanced persons using enhanced tools will therefore make enhanced decisions. Helping us make better moral and ethical decisions in other words "human wisdom will reach new heights. He also goes on to list all the ways our thinking currently limits our wisdom. I believe that in the future humans will be thinking on much higher levels and processing much more information much more quickly. However I do not think that humans will become digitally wise simply because they are digitally enhanced. I dont believe that technology has anything to do with wisdom. Technology is a tool that operates in our world, wisdom has whole other meaning. I am not sure we will be agreeing on what that means anytime soon.
