Course Session Outline For "Creating SmartArt in MS Word 2007" - M. Tessmer

Attached is my detailed session outline. I've included step-by-step instructions, with screen captures, on how to set up the meeting room prior to the session, how to conduct the session in the Main Meeting room, and how to conduct the Hands-on Practice within multiple Breakout Rooms. I've even included an Appendix with copies of the Breakout Room layout and the Job Aid for students.

This turned out to be a challenge in figuring out how to conduct a session with hands-on practice on a computer application. I even spent over an hour on the phone with Adobe Connect to see what we could figure out. So after all that work, I wanted to share all the details with my classmates. Hope it helps if you ever decide to offer an online course session of this type.
